The final event of the official PGA season. After this they will start their new “wraparound” schedule, basically making next season the 2013-14, which will start October 7th. This weekend will be East Lake in Atlanta, with the Tour Championship and $10M prize that goes with it on the line. The points are reset to give everyone in the 30 man field a chance to win the season long championship, while giving the top players the best chance. This past Monday Zach Johnson zoomed up the leaderboard by winning the tournament putting him inside a top 5 that is guaranteed to win the FedEx Cup if they win the Tour Championship.
