Am I the only that is driven crazy when people do this? You hit the lock button once and it locks the doors you hit it a second time and it beeps the horn. Then you hit it another seventeen times why? To make sure your horn still works? Peace of mind? To interrupt everyone elses life? To let all the car thieves know you locked the doors? This asshole goes hand in hand with the guy that does not understand that nobody wants to hear your text message tone going off every fourteen seconds. We get it you are texting someone, you are super important stop invading the rest of our lives with your self importance.

I just went down the street to get my mother some flowers for tomorrow like a good son does, actually I was going to the packie to feed my alcoholism and figured why not kill two birds with one stone. In the process of getting out of my car and walking the 37 feet to the front of the strip mall I counted 29 beeps. None of which seemed to be for a legitimate reason. Clearly I am in the minority but I try and live my life without invading other people’s lives. That means my phone is always on vibrate and not sitting on top of a glass table and I do not beep my horn to make sure my car doors are locked. In fact I disabled the car horn from the whole locking the doors situation completely. If you can’t trust your car to lock the first time you hit the button then you shouldn’t be driving it. It’s one thing if you forget to lock it and you are a long ways away and you want to make sure the car is within range to lock, and even then the fucking headlights will flash but you are too fucking lazy to turn your head and check those. But in this case you could have been parked in the back of the lot and been inside any one of the stores and it would have received the message to lock the doors. In most instances people hit the button twice even though they are standing close enough to the car to physically hear the doors lock. But that isn’t enough. We need that beep to give us peace of mind. Have you ever been about to get in your car and hit the lock button instead of the unlock button? Have you then ever pulled the handle and had the door been unlocked? No you haven’t because it always fucking works. Stop being so into yourself and stop doubting everyone and everything around you. Nobody wants to hear your phone going off every two seconds and nobody wants to hear your stupid car horn beep cause you are too stupid to realize the power of the technology in your hands. And if you own a newer car most likely you can change the settings to disable the horn. You can probably set it so the lights will flash with or without the horn or just disable both of them. Do you really need to audibly hear your horn to know your doors are locked or are you just being too stupid to actually take the 2 seconds to think about what you are doing? Yes there is no harm done in forcing other people to hear your horn but you shouldn’t be trying to invade peoples lives with your insecurities, we used to try and hide those, now they are broadcast to everyone within hearing distance. I think it’s safe to say this is a run-on paragraph at this point but I started yelling under my breath after the 8th beep then I heard 19 more including one douchebag who hit the button at least 10 times. So it's safe too say I am too angry to start a new paragraph at this point. I have a buddy that does this or used to. He used to be a three beep guy and every time he did it I would give him shit. Now he has woken up and realized how dumb and annoying he was being. Hopefully more people realize it and cut the shit because I can’t be the only one that this is driving insane.
