You're A Piece of Shit... Bob Costas

“If Jovan Belcher didn’t possess a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would still be alive today.”

Jovan Belcher ended up killing himself and his girlfriend after an argument. There's more to the story that people will never know. Was Belcher drunk? Did Perkins cheat on him? Was there a history of violence? The fact of the matter is, when people get an idea to do something they do it. The gun did not get the idea to murder Perkins and kill Belcher. Period end of discussion. The stupid idiotic comment by Costas is along the same lines of If Joey didn't eat his Cheerios today, he wouldn't have gotten AIDS. But I'm not done with you yet Costas..

So after he was done preaching his bullshit about guns, he attacks The Masters and more specifically Augusta National Golf Club and CBS.

"What no CBS commentator has ever alluded to, even in passing, even during a rain delay, even when there was time to do so, is Augusta's history of racism and sexism," Costas said. "Even when people were protesting just outside the grounds — forget about taking a side — never acknowledging it. So not only will I never work the Masters because I'm not at CBS, but I'd have to say something and then I would be ejected."

First of all jackass, you are a terrible commentator and CBS would want no part of you. But that's beside the point. The point is Augusta National is a private club. It's not yours, it's not mine, it's theirs. They can do what they want. Just like the Girl Scouts are comprised of Girls, just like the Black Panthers are comprised of Black people, just like the KKK is composed of white people. Just because they are different from your beliefs and values doesn't make them right. And to touch on the CBS point, Bob, they aren't going for ratings asshole. People tune in to watch golf. Great golf. They don't put on the Masters to watch a “White Guilt” piece on how the place where the game is played doesn't allow women or people of color. Hey Bob, Condoleezza Rice was admitted as a member. She's African American and a women.

So there you go, done deal, old news. Shut the fuck up, leave them alone, and let CBS go on and continue to kick NBC's ass in sports ratings.
