The first evidence of a Super Bowl hangover is present in week 1. The Packers have improved their defense and a healthy Aaron Rodgers will spoil opening night festivities and quiet the loudest home crowd in football.

Green Bay +5.5 over Seattle

This Thursday we are starting off with a tough one. Green Bay at Seattle. The Seahawks are giving 6, and I'm really on the fence. On one hand, history has told me don't go against Seattle at home. But on the other hand, I think Green Bay is the best offense in the NFC when Aaron Rodgers is healthy. I'm probably going to regret this, but I'm going to take the Packers with the points.

I don't like that we are all on the same page here but while that Seahawks crowd and defense is going to be beyond fired up tonight, I just feel like we are going to see a ton of flags thrown against them. That should allow Aaron Rodgers plenty of opportunities to break that defense who might get winded early on in the game. Rodgers is going to feel like he has something to prove this year and what better way to start that trend by beating the defending champs who have only lost once at home in the past two seasons... in their home opener.
