I know today is supposed to be Remember... But let’s be honest if I titled this “Remember... Derrick Rose” would it make that much of a difference? We are introducing the new segment that is going to be like the old Following People Suck and this is, along with AP3’s post about Bob Costas are going to reintroduce it.

I have officially had enough of him basically betraying the Bulls and more importantly his teammates this season. Can you imagine a scenario in which Jordan or Kobe would willingly sit for even one game after being medically cleared? He was medically cleared March 8th. That is six weeks of him sitting on the bench letting his teammates go out and battle even though they need him.

Yesterday Noah played with a tear in his foot. That plantar fascitis can be a real bitch, he could not even run up and down the floor yesterday. They were getting smoked and yet there was Noah battling with a tear in his foot. D-Rose? Riding the pine watching them get embarrassed.

Obviously I understand the Bulls organization is going to tell him to sit as long as you want, do not rush back. He is still very young and the future of that team. They can not afford to upset him or push him when he is not ready. But he was medically cleared six weeks ago. So he is ready. He was videotaped dunking like the old Rose off of each foot six weeks ago. He has only looked better the longer we wait for him to come back. Yet we still wait.

In a world where Adrian Peterson can run wind sprints just a few months after having a similar injury and then rush for the second most yards in a single season in the history of the NFL. Where Wes Welker can come back some six months after a similar injury only to be his usual shifty, big hit taking, self.

Rose got cleared to play six weeks ago and instead of fighting to get back on the court he sits, and sits, and sits some more. With his teammates clearly running out of gas the last six weeks he sat and watched. With his teammates getting smushed in Game 1 of their first round playoff series yesterday, he sat and watched. And as far as anyone knows he is perfectly content with sitting around and watching his teammates lose three more times this series.

Nobody in Chicago can get mad at him. Nobody can hold him accountable for this. Nobody will even speak about it. But Derrick Rose your teammates count on you. They have been working their asses off. They have been fighting through injury to get this really weak roster into the playoffs. With you they could have a chance at knocking off the Nets and maybe even the Heat. But since you got all depressed and accustomed to sitting around, and because nobody is willing to call you out on it  you don’t see a problem. You do not see how you are betraying all of your teammates. Maybe I am the only one willing to say it, but I would like to think all of your teammates, especially Joakim Noah, are thinking it. Derrick Rose... You are a piece of shit.
