Game 1 Sunday 3:30pm ABC

There are a lot of people making a case for this Lakers team, clearly Vegas is not buying it with the Spurs being -900 for the series and -8.5 in Game 1. Also the Spurs are currently +160 and +140 to win this series in 4 or 5 games respectively. The Lakers have a size advantage over the Spurs but can they really trust Dwight Howard?

Of course they can’t trust Dwight Howard. Please Laker supporters, explain to me how Dwight and Pau can struggle to exist on the floor together, yet now they are prime for a playoff run? It comes down to they are both centers. You can’t have two guys on the low block or the lane will be too clogged to be effective. Yet you can’t have one of these guys on the high post because they are rendered nearly useless, especially Dwight.

Even if the Lakers somehow do dominate Tim Duncan and company down low explain to me how Steve Blake, Jodie Meeks and the rest of that YMCA crew are going to compete with Tony Parker, Kawaii Leonard and the second seeded Spurs.

The Best Bet: Spurs to win series in 4 games +160

This is simply the best bad of a bunch of bad bets. There is no value in the Spurs, because deep down we all know they are going to roll this Lakers team. Watch for value in individual game lines, especially game 3 to bet the Spurs.
