Game 1 Sunday 1pm TNT

Probably not going to break any ratings records with this one. Only the first three games of the series have official times and networks, but something tells me game 2 won’t be their only NBATv game. Regardless, we have the best defensive team in the East and an Atlanta team capable of playing up and down, exciting, addictive hoop. If Atlanta can get in a rhythm they can knock the Pacers off.

Without Granger the Pacers have struggled to score. They have mostly beat up on the bad teams the last month. They are either going to need to have someone really step up in the scoring department or hold every tea to 75 points to have a chance. But this Atlanta team can be held well below that.

We have seen a little bit of everything from the Hawks. Josh Smith and Al Horford are capable of getting this team to go on a hot streak in which they play as well as anyone in the league. However, the other option you get from the Hawks is them being the worst of the worst. When facing a top notch defense, they typically crumble.

Best Bet: Pacers -6.5 in Game 1

If the Hawks are going to win games in this series they will be at home. They are not going to compete against this defense on the road. Indiana should blow them out in Game 1.

Pacers in 4 games 8-1

If you bet them in 5 it is only +180, so this is the best value bet. There is not much else worth betting in this series, and why should you want to, then you would have to watch it.
