2013 Power Rankings Week 5

Image description

There's a new team at the top, but last week's number 1 didn't fall too far. Bottom 2 teams stay the same and will most likely be there for the duration of the season. On to the Week 5 NotBS NFL Power Rankings..

Rank Team Previous Rank Up/Down Record Against The Spread Next Opponent The Word
1 Broncos 2 1 4-0 4-0 at Dallas Yawn. Peyton may sit the last 3 games.
2 Seahawks 1 -1 4-0 4-0 at Indianapolis Good teams find ways to steal games they have no business winning.
3 Saints 3 0 4-0 3-1 at Chicago Who dat say dey gon' beat dem Saints?
4 Patriots 5 1 4-0 2-2 at Cincinnati Losing Wilfork for the year is not what they wanted. How is this team 4-0?
5 Chiefs 12 7 4-0 3-1 at Tennessee All they do is win win win.
6 Colts 9 3 3-1 2-2 vs Seattle Anyone can beat Jacksonville, but it takes a special team to sweep San Francisco AND Seattle.
7 49ers 10 3 2-2 2-2 vs Houston Now that's more like it.
8 Bears 7 -1 3-1 1-2-1 vs New Orleans Fuck the Bears.
9 Texans 14 5 2-2 0-4 at San Francisco Quick poll Texans fans... Fire Kubiak, or cut Schaub?
10 Titans 15 5 3-1 3-0-1 vs Kansas City Losing Locker really hurts when this team was starting to become a threat.
11 Falcons 13 2 1-3 0-3-1 vs N.Y. Jets Matt Ryan missed a lot of easy, key throws in Prime Time.
12 Bengals 4 -8 2-2 2-1-1 vs New England You gotta show me something Andy Dalton
13 Packers 11 -2 1-2 1-2 vs Detroit Should be a good game with extra time to prepare.
14 Lions 18 4 3-1 3-1 at Green Bay Might have to be taken seriously now.
15 Dolphins 8 -7 3-1 3-1 vs Baltimore Kind of a let down on Monday Night Football, but it was a tough matchup.
16 Cowboys 6 -10 2-2 3-1 vs Denver They might still be in it after the 1st quarter.
17 Browns 22 5 2-2 2-2 vs Buffalo 2-0 in the Brian Hoyer era.
18 Chargers 17 -1 2-2 3-0-1 at Oakland Not sure what to make of them yet
19 Ravens 16 -3 2-2 2-2 at Miami What did Ray Rice do to deserve the treatment he's receiving from Harbaugh? Or is John just that bad of a coach?
20 Eagles 19 -1 1-3 1-3 at N.Y. Giants More McCoy please.
21 Rams 20 -1 1-3 0-3-1 vs Jacksonville Sam Bradford will be selling insurance soon.
22 Bills 23 1 2-2 3-1 at Cleveland Decent home team, miserable road team.
23 Panthers 27 4 1-2 1-2 at Arizona Rivera looks for back to back to back wins after not being canned in the Bye week.
24 Jets 21 -3 2-2 3-1 at Atlanta Back to back butt fumble years for a team is never good.
25 Redskins 25 0 1-3 1-3 BYE Maybe a win at Oakland is all they needed to right the ship?
26 Cardinals 26 0 2-2 3-1 vs Carolina Shouldn't this team be more fun to watch?
27 Raiders 28 1 1-3 2-2 vs San Diego Why even bother paying for a backup QB when it's Matt Flynn.
28 Vikings 30 2 1-3 2-2 BYE May have saved his job with this London win.
29 Giants 24 -5 0-4 0-4 vs Philadelphia This is starting to get ugly, and I love it.
30 Steelers 29 -1 0-4 0-4 BYE Tomlin's a good coach but this team is in rough shape. He should be worried.
31 Buccaneers 31 0 0-4 1-3 BYE Schiano is on thin ice.
32 Jaguars 32 0 0-4 0-4 at St. Louis Serious question, how high does this line have to be before you take Jacksonville?

AP3

Cleveland -4 over Buffalo

Brian Hoyer has injected life into the once lowly Browns. Spiller, Jackson, and Johnson are all banged up for a Buffalo team that doesn't play well on the road anyway. P.S. when was the last time the Browns were favored by more than 3 points?

MLZ

Buffalo +4 over Cleveland

I am just not ready to lay four points with the Browns. While I don't trust Buffalo on the road this should at least be a close one. Four is too many.
