This is a pretty solid week for most people, just not me. There’s a superhero sequel an Eminem album and a new Call of Duty all releasing this week.

Thor: The Dark World
I feel like most of the things I heard about the first Thor were negative. But then they forced more Thor on us with the Avengers and now a sequel. My arm is really tired from tapping out on all these guys in tights with magical powers around me.

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP 2
I’ve always enjoyed most of Eminem’s music but I was out on this
album after he was trippin balls, or at least appeared to be,
during an interview during a college football broadcast. Plus that
song was absolutely awful. But AP3 seems to really like it and
claims that is the worst song on the album, so I may end up having
to give it a spin.

I’ve always like Avril, so I’ll give her a spot here but the following are people that you may know that actually have new albums coming out. I didn’t know any of those people were still alive.

Call of Duty: Ghosts
I don’t understand how people haven’t gotten sick of these games yet. Almost every game with online play is run around this map and kill the other team. It’s incredibly repetitive. I will get sucked into it once every half dozen years or so, but I can’t figure out these people that just never stop playing COD as well as other games that are almost identical online. Call of Duty I especially never liked. There was one from probably seven years ago, that I really enjoyed the story line but it took about two hours to beat. It was made to play online so if that’s not for you then don’t spend $60. Don’t get sucked in by the hype and people around you.
Since I’ve Last Written
Survivor
I binged watched these shows recently to get caught up and Survivor was especially good. I have always liked Survivor and can’t recommend watching it enough especially this season because it is truly different. Pitting contestants against their loved ones, along with Redemption Island, or URI as I like to call it, has added another dimension to the game. There have been a ton of twists and turns, like people burning hidden immunity idol clues and blindsides that it is a must watch.
American Horror Story
Really strong cast in this show. I can see why AP3 likes it so much, but all the magic and witches feels a bit silly to me. I’m still in because the cast is great, but my interest is fading fast.
Walking Dead
I love this show and I normally hate zombies. Now with something new to worry themselves with this season has been different yet equally as much fun.
