NFL Pick'Em: 2014 Divisional Round

Image description

There is really only three more legitimate weekends left in this NFL season, while we are excited to see how it plays out we are also beginning to feel that depression set in. Regardless let's make some money these last three weekends.

* Home teams in bold.

AP3

Seattle -8 over New Orleans

We’ve seen this episode before. During that time the Saints were on fire, unstoppable, and healthy. Now they are banged up, and the rested Seahawks get Percy Harvin back. Seattle rolls 31-13.

Indianapolis +7.5 over New England

Moneyline Special!

If you haven’t seen this play yet, get used to it. You are going to see it over and over again.

It’s plays like this that define a season and playoff run. Just like Ray Rice against the Chargers last year, this will solidify the Colts run. If you haven’t already, now is the time to bet the Colts at 16-1 to win the Super Bowl.

Carolina +3 over San Francisco

No respect shown for the 2 seed Panthers that have already beaten the 49ers this season. I think the 49ers come out on top, but it will be a close one, most likely pushing the spread.

Denver -9 over San Diego

Lock Alert!

No one beats Peyton Manning twice in the same season. Free Money.

Last Week 2-2

Overall Record 116-138-8
Lock Alert Record 11-11

Moneyline Special Record 3-7

Seattle -8 over New Orleans

The Saints narrowly escaped the Eagles and their awful defense last week. There is no way they hang in there with the Seahawks whether Russell Wilson has been struggling of late or not.

New England -7.5 over Indianapolis

Everyone is taking the points with the Colts this week, but it feels like a bit of an overreaction to last weeks comeback. They still aren't that good of a football team. The Chiefs got injured and gave that thing away. Bill and Brady won't allow that to happen, especially not at home. The Colts can't run the ball so they can't attack the Patriots biggest weakness and they can't stop an intermural flag football team on defense. The Pats are going to get out to an early lead and never look back, winning by double digits.

Carolina +3 over San Francisco

Are the 49ers really six points better than the Panthers? I know Steve Smith isn't 100% but that defense is outstanding. This game should look like all those great Steelers/Ravens games and it should be the best game of the week.

San Diego +9 over Denver

Maybe it isn't likely, but there is absolutely a chance that the Chargers go into Denver and win again. As long as they don't make mistakes they should be able to hang around. The Chargers love to run the ball and control the clock. They can keep Manning on the sideline and reduce the number of possessions. Their goal, like last week, was to keep it low scoring and just to hang around until the fourth quarter. Also, keep in mind that Peyton has never been great in the playoffs or the cold.

Last Week 2-2

Overall Record 127-127-8
Lock Alert Record 15-18

Moneyline Special Record 8-10
