Last One to Leave Lock the Door: Saying Goodbye to The Office

I wish there was a way to know you were in the good ole days before you actually left them.

-Andy

There have been plenty of movies like John Q, The Lion King, and Marley & Me that have made me cry Besides the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers when I was 7 years old, no TV show has ever made me cry, until last night. Last night we said goodbye to one of the best shows of my life.

I wasn’t exactly sure as to how to go about writing this show. To me The Office started as a show that I didn’t watch in order. It would happen to be on TV and I would watch the episode. Then it came to Netflix and I watched the available 7 seasons. I caught up with seasons 8 and 9 live and I haven’t been happier. So here we go..

Leslie Knope on Parks & Recreation is close, but there will never be a character quite like Michael Scott.

Of course, every TV regional manager needs an assistant (to the regional manager).

And if there’s an assistant to the regional manager in the office, then there is a rival to him.

Who happens to fall in love with the secretary and marry her.

Speaking of secretaries…

…although this one also had a relationship with the regional manager.

But all office relationships must go through HR.

Toby sucks.

Creed doesn’t suck.

Am I racist if I only have white people? Just kidding Stanley is awesome.

But is he as good as Kevin?

Of course there were other main characters, and even side characters that came and went, but don’t forget the times in the show that brought us to tears.

So sorry for all of the videos mlz, but there is no way words can express how I felt about this show. Cliché as it may be, ups and downs, highs and lows, The Office has been the best sitcom of my generation. Someday we may get a movie, but even if we don’t it was still good for me. That’s what she said.

It’s like a long book that you never want to end, and you're fine with that because you never want to leave it.
