Super Bowl XLVII Recap
First, congrats to the Ravens on
winning another Super Bowl. I have a few thoughts on the game and
we shall wrap up our picks for the year later on.
I don't know if you noticed it, but the first play of the game was
far and away the biggest play of the game. The Ravens needed to get
all the breaks in order to win that game, and they sure did. The
first play of the game San Francisco picks up a first down roughly
15 yards, only to have it called back for illegal formation. They
then ran into the line on 2nd down and failed to convert 3rd and
15, thus punting to the Ravens giving them great field position.
They took that field position and went down the field and scored.
Don't get me wrong I'm not taking away from anything Baltimore did,
they did everything they needed to win that game. But if the 49ers
line up right on the first play of the game they probably go down
the field and score and boy would that have made for a different
game. San Francisco was playing
from behind after that first possession. It wasn't until the
power outage that they could get any rhythm going.

AP3 snuck in at .500 with a win yesterday while I finished slightly
over .500. Off years for both of us to say the least. Especially my
18-27 locks record. That is flat out unacceptable. Another great
year of the NFL is in the books. Sucks.
